Final Call for all Artists to exhibit during  ‘Leamington Live’ 

Leamington Studio Artist’s is working with BID Leamington on the Art Trail for the exciting ‘Leamington Live’ event which will be held for a second year running on Saturday 30th April.  This is a, not to be missed, opportunity to present and sell your work at no cost to yourself – no commissions or pitch rent  The event, which attracted nearly 90,000 people last year, celebrates style, arts and culture within the town and will kick off with a live screening of the Royal Wedding on the 29th April in the Royal Pump Room Gardens and a family feature film in the afternoon.

 Carole Sleight is organising the Saturday 30^th Art Trail which currently flags up the core Art establishments in Leamington. Some of these are having in house artists on the Saturday, from 11am-4pm; others are dressing their shop window for Leamington Live.

We would like to offer all artists a free platform on Saturday to exhibit their work and show how diverse and creative Leamington is. 

 You could be involved in a number of ways:

1.       You turn up with your easel, art work, a chair, and display/promote your work. We have a number of areas under discussion for this such as Regency Court, Satchwell Court, The Pump Room Gardens etc. If interested email carole@letthemeatcake.co.uk  and she will allocate spaces on a first come first reserved basis. Spaces are limited and may have display restrictions. (we are looking at options to sell works)

2.    If you’re a ‘street’ artist then there will sections where you can work/perform and hopefully collect monies. These locations have yet tbc.

3.    Regents Court where Gallery150 is located, as one of three ‘venues’ with a fashion show and musicians. At the Parade end we’d also like to host a dedicated space for Live Demonstrations throughout the day of Artists techniques, watercolour painting, portraiture, Oils, etc – open to suggestions.

In addition to this there will be space for approximately 6 artists along Livery Street to work of an easel & to display your work.

4.   You may personally know a retailer who you could work with to create a Leamington ‘Live’ window display and/or showcase your work there.
